Wed 12 Feb: CofE Synod: There will be a debate this morning on the CofE Motion about Change: Bristol Diocese is looking to table an amendment to the climate emergency motion at General Synod to encourage the Church to be much more ambitious in its carbon reduction target. “Specifically, we are pushing for net zero carbon by 2030 rather than 2045, as currently stated in the motion. This follows our decision as a Diocese to set a 2030 target last November (alongside the City Council and the University of Bristol).”
