Our area includes: (It includes the Three Peaks of Yorkshire - Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen y Ghent - which lie in the South West of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the north east part of the Forest of Bowland, mostly moorland, and part of the Craven Lowlands) |

Craven Conservation Group has 80-100 members most of whom live in this area or just outside. (Over 100 when one includes members of a family in family membership) |
Our aims and activities include: botanical surveys, guided walks, slide shows, children's events, butterfly recording, events for birds, mosses, fungi, grasses, and sedges, and physical conservation work. Our newsletter lists forthcoming events. |
We promote links with: other local, regional and natural history organisations e.g. Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, Yorkshire Dales Conservation Volunteers, Bentham Footpath Group, Yorkshire Naturalists' Union, Plantlife. |
