Plant Surveying with Judith Allinson. Bowland Knotts on 31st May, Near Langcliffe village on 1st , 8th, 15th and 21st Near Otterburn on 7th and 14th June Bank Newton Lochs 22 June (7.00pm) Meet at Settle Swimming Pool on all dates at 6.30pm to share transport and get lifts. Beginners welcome. |

Locations are yet to be decided.. but we've had some super trips recently to a variety of places. so I'm sure you'll enjoy these. |

Moths Evening The Moths Evening has kindly been arranged by Dr Steve Sutton to be held on Thursday July 22nd at his house, Heigh Head, Keasden, from about 8 o'clock. Please pass the word on! We said in the newsletter to look out for a notice on the Settle Co-op noticeboard for this event BUT the Co-op is about to close for a week for "re-furbishments" !! Guided walk at South House Pavement The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust invite you to a Guided walk at the YWT Reserve of South House Pavement on the side of Ingleborough. led by Judith Allinson. Meet at South House Farm, 1 mile SE of Selside, 2 miles N of Horton, grid ref. SD 787741. Bring packed lunch, drink, stout shoes and waterproofs for 3 mile walk. The pavement is not easy to walk on so reasonable agility is required. If the weather is wet we will spend more time looking round the periphery of the pavement.
